This is great stuff. I need some techie person to volunteer to create a "place food order on Capraboacasa.com" for home delivery!
ReplyDeleteImplementation Challenge #1: I went to supermarket today with my daughter. We (she) agreed on fish & rice for dinner. We got home. She cried and cried that she hates fish. We ate my version of arroz a la cubana... with a promise that fish would be eaten tomorrow. Any motivational tips on getting commitment to the week's menu?
That's a tough one! My kids are conditional eaters as well... THe condition being whether or not they are in the mood for it when they see the plate. Usually the answer is "no"! I started a star system with them about 4 weeks ago that is working well. they get one star everyday that they don't complain about the food and finish their plate quickly... the reward comes at the end of the week. if they've collected 6 stars, they get to choose their meal on the 7th day (some conditions apply LOL). We've been very successful with the star-system.
ReplyDeleteOn a techie note, I have looked into connecting my meal plan with www.CarrefourOnline.es, but first, i have to be more diligent about getting EVERY recipe up in time. I just got a couple of Blog dev and Blog programming books from www.bookdepository.co.uk (a cheaper - no delivery charge anywhere in the world alternative to Amazon) - so, hopefully, it will all be online soon ;)
